God I just….it’s so atypical and it feels so weird but Catra’s arc is so good. She does everything a hero’s arc should be beat for beat but she does it all wrong.

She perseveres despite the world going against her, takes down her abuser, goes through an arc when she realizes that a friendship she valued was actually toxic to her and cuts that friend off….but it’s all so wrong and so distorted by her jealousy and selfishness and lack of a moral core and she’s just hopping merrily to her doom with all this fake self-actualization built on tearing down others and climbing up a ladder she will never reach the top of. Evil is freeing to her, it’s empowering, it’s control and confidence and enlightenment that she never knew before so of course she’s gonna go as far as she can and revel in it. But it’s all a lie, and I can’t wait for the arc where it all crumbles beneath her feet.

ok, so I hope it will end with Catra as the leader of the Horde (not evil) that works with princesses coalition to restore Erethia and the Horde will be refuge to princesses that are not all good and happy, but more morally gray. That way Catra won’t feel inferior to Adora and their relationship will be more healthy for them
