@staff you seriously need to rewrite the code on your algorithm
Gonna drop my opinion here on this really quick:
Tumblr could have avoided all of this with a simple easy code – called CAPTCHA. It’s not an expensive investment, and it’s easy to work into the code of a site like this. Sure, it might have been a little annoying to end users but guess what, bots wouldn’t have been able to flood the system as much, and you could have used/relied on your filtering system you had in place to catch the others.
The fact that tumblr is still relying on a algorithm just makes me shake my head.
