okay I keep seeing these posts reblogged and yeah it does seem to be a remarkable instance of cyberfeminism but a serious problem with reading stuff from secondary translated news sources is that you aren’t even seeing the actual story.
after a bit of simple research (i.e., browsing the tag) I realized that 99% of the women posting on it were affiliated with transmisogyny and had the terms “TERF” “radfem” and “womyn born womyn” on their bio in english on their instas and twitters… like please do the absolute minimum of research before supporting something you dont even know about

I get that women cutting their hair and denouncing makeup sounds like a really attractive movement but this isn’t an instance of “cool idea stolen by nasty TERFS is still cool” it is literally their entire thing. its not a coincidence. most of these women are literally TERFs. thats why so many of them hide their identities and post on finstas. they are cowards
