I’ll say it outside the tags now: IQ is a fakeass concept because assigning numbers to people’s intelligence and calling that a meaningful measure when there’s different types of intelligence and everyone has some capacity to practice and learn strikes me largely as a way to try to force people to ignore that capacity and let people the tests are naturally weighted toward (something impossible to avoid realistically!!) be assholes about it

Also some of the stupidest people I’ve ever met are ones who parade their high IQ scores and that’s a fact.
