hello all, i’m here to tell you all about something near and dear to my heart: girl meets farm on food network. gmf is a cooking show hosted by molly yeh. she is a blogger, chef, and cookbook author. her blog is called my name is yeh and her cookbook is molly on the range. molly is of mixed chinese and jewish heritage which informs a lot of her cooking (eg pastrami egg rolls, scallion pancake challah, etc). it makes me unbelievably happy to see a mixed asian woman being successful in mainstream media while fully embracing her heritage which is why i want to bring attention to molly and her show. and if that isn’t enough for you, her kitchen, home, and clothes are a whole aesthetic. i can’t pick a favorite example but check out her blog or @mollyyeh on instagram. the second season of gmf is premiering on november 11 at 10am central!
