I know the topic of how some people’s Jewishness does or does not intersect with whiteness can be an incredibly thorny one, but let me just say this:

Even if you’re a person trying to be introspective and honest about your own access to white privilege, if you do so by talking about Jewishness like it equates whiteness (or at least a white-ishness) as a default, then you’re doing it totally fucking wrong. I’ve seen so many people use language that totally erases Jews of colour in their efforts to unpack their own access to whiteness, and it’s just like so close to getting the point yet so fucking far.
