Santa Muerte is not a gay icon or pretty skeleton lady

Dia de Los Muertos it Dia de Muertos is not a Mexican Halloween.

If you aren’t from a cultural who worships Santa Muerte or celebrates Dia de Muertos. You are actively participating in Cultural Appropriation.

Please remember that although Santa Muerte is the saint of the disenfranchised, drug cartels, sex workers, and some LGBTQIA people. However, She is not a patron saint of the LGBTQIA community. She is litterally goddess of death re-represented she is Mitecacihuatl . If you pray to her and ask her for things you will get it but the also collects a high toll too. I was always told to respect her but don’t worship her.
