Pansexual Artists

Angel Haze – Agender rapper/hiphop artist who also goes by ROES. She uses him/her/they pronouns but says “I sound like four people when I get written about as they.” Her latest single is “Brooklyn” and was released just this year.

Brook Candy – Electropop/Pop rap/Club rap artist of Jewish descent. She/her pronouns. She’s sex positive & feminist and “Living out loud” has some very gay vibes.

Brendon Urie – A newer addition to the lgbt musicians list, he only just came out this year! Better known as the frontman and only remaining member of Panic! At the Disco, he makes pop punk/emo boy music. He/Him

Boyfriend – Suzannah Powell coined the word “Rap-Cabaret” to describe her music. She prefers to be known only as “Boyfriend.” She was raised extremely religious and uses her music as an outlet to explore sexuality, gender, and feminism. She/Her pronouns.

Christine and the Queens – The stage name of Héloïse Letissier, a French Pop/Freakpop musician. Her recent single “5 dollars” is amazing, and “Girlfriend” is a fav. She/Her.

Courtney Act – The drag persona of Shane Jenek, a genderfluid drag queen & pop musician. They/them when not in drag, She/her when playing their Courtney persona.

Janelle Monae – Lovingly referred to as “Pansexual God” Janelle Monae is a funk/pop/hiphop/psychedelic soul artist & rapper. Her latest concept album “Dirty Computer” is a masterpiece. She/her pronouns.

Miley Cyrus – Pop/former country artist & actress. You probably all know her from the girls gone wild sexist 2014 bullshit. But she!! Considers herself!! Pan!!! And has blessed us with pan anthem “She’s not him.” She/her.

Rina Sawayama – Another pop artist who recently came out (and with a very gay single “Cherry” at that!) I’ve admired her music for a while now and it was so amazing to learn that many of those songs are about girls. She/her.

Shamir – Nonbinary indie rock/electronic/disco/hip house artist. He was raised Muslim but doesn’t consider himself such anymore. He has no preferred pronoun but is “comfortable with male pronouns and never really got the singular they.”

Y’all really need to stop with this “Jewish descent” bullshit. Brooke Candy is Jewish. She identifies as Jewish. Stop erasing her identity. Literally every time. Every damn time it’s always “Jewish descent.” She’s fucking Jewish.
