I just received payment for a super fun job, and almost immediately after, those funds were stolen out of my account by a hacker, who proceeded to take hundreds of dollars from my Paypal, as well as my debit via my Amazon account to buy PSN codes and Amazon Gift cards.
Not only that, but he also hacked into my email account, rigging it so that way all new emails I received were sent straight to my trash to make recovery and security changes a hassle.
I got in contact with my bank, Amazon, and Paypal, and they promised reimbursement after a certain amount of time while they investigate just what the heck happened.
Then, my tech-savvy girlfriend implemented all sorts of clever security measures and full password resets on literally EVERYTHING with my name on it so something like this doesn’t happen again.
Here’s the rub: with my accounts locked out, I’m staying with my partner in Philadelphia since I can’t afford the trip home back to my little apartment in South Jersey.
I’m in the midst of paying rent soon, as well as an apartment search for moving into the city so.. I’m pretty much broke, gang.

Change your passwords, install better security for your devices kids. Please watch out and be careful with where you place your information.
