It’s lovely for you that you ‘haven’t seen anybody do that.’ However, Jewish people have to deal with Poles routinely claiming they have just as much right to the trauma of the Holocaust as we do despite the fact that they also contributed to our genocide en masse.

Do you actually know anything about anti-semitism in Poland? About the Kielce pogrom? About Jedwabne? About the fact that at least 200,000 Jews were either directly murdered by their Polish neighbours were handed over to the Nazis by Polish Jew hunters? About the fact that they turned Jewish gravestones into building materials after the war so that people all over the country are literally walking all over our dead?

Also, “I’ve not read the statistics,” on Poles being more complicit? Um…it’s simple mathematics? I’ve laid this out before, but:

In 1938, Poland had a population of 34,849,000. This included a Jewish population of roughly 3,310,000.

Official counts estimate that somewhere between 1.8 to 2 million non-Jewish Ethnic Poles died in the Holocaust.

So if we take the entire Polish population of 34,849,000 and subtract both the number of Jews (3,310,000) and the estimated number of Ethnic Poles who perished due to the Holocaust (2,000,000), we get 29,539,000.

Official statistics show that 6,532 Non-Jewish Poles have been recognized for rescuing Jews, but let’s be generous and say it was actually close to 1 million people, because these things can be difficult to quantify.

1,000,000 ÷ 29,539,000 = 0.0338

3.38% of the Polish population helped made efforts to protect Jews in this equation.

If you only factor in the officially recognized Poles who rescued Jews during the war, that lowers the figure all the way down to 0.00022, or 0.022%.

Either way, we’re talking about a tiny portion of the Polish population here. That means an overwhelming majority of Poles were complicit in the murder of their Jewish neighbours.

To quote Lakav Harkov:  “Half of the Jews murdered in the Holocaust, about 3 million, were Polish. Over 90% of Poland’s Jewish population was slaughtered in the Holocaust. You don’t get to numbers like that without cooperation.”

The posts you’re railing against are posts written by Jewish and Romani people who were venting in the face of being gaslit time and time again by those who perpetrated our suffering. By people who are mad, not at their ancestors for their complicity, but at the Jews for demanding a national apology. I had one Polish girl on this hellsite get so mad over our desire to have the Polish government apologise for its role in the Holocaust that she said: “we were the only country who wouldn’t burn your people alive)…we let you develop your culture on OUR territory and we made you feel at home.” So basically, ‘you fucking alien kikes should be grateful we didn’t gas more of you.’ Another person said “ I feel like some powerful lobbies of the the so-called progressive Europe along with Israel would fucking love to ..re-write history and blame the Holocaust on Poland ad Polish people.” Right, Israel is framing Poland. It’s the fucking Jews fault we’re being asked to apologise.

These are the comments we get when we ask people to recognise how our suffering differed from other groups. That’s why people made those comments you so gleefully screencapped as if you were teaching a lesson in a history we can’t very well ever forget because the trauma of it is encoded in our fucking DNA.

How nice for you that you get to be the calm, collected voice of reason confronting the mean, hysterical Jews and Roma who are so intent on excluding everyone else from their genocide club that they forgot to bring a nicely formatted bibliography like you did. What a shining example you are unto us all. I’m sure the next time 1/3 of our world populations are literally wiped off the face the earth, we’ll think twice before asking the people who killed our grandparents to to apologise without showing up with a really nice powerpoint and some invites to our pity party.
