also feel like the whole snakes being associated with evil that is all over the potterverse is due to a very narrow christian centered viewpoint

like being a parselmouth is associated with evil, but like objectively it shouldn’t and again parseltongue would make the most sense to have been created and implemented in India since again lots of snake species with many being highly venomous
