The Home Office is about to evict approximately 300 asylum seekers from their accommodation in Glasgow, via their for-profit bodyguards Serco. Serco continually harass asylum seekers in the city, including evicting whole families and cutting them off benefits if they have been found to have more than £20 in their bank account because apparently that means you are no longer ‘destitute’. If you live in Scotland, and especially the Glasgow area,  please contact your MP, MSP, city councillors and the Home Secretary Sajid Javid and urge them to intervene to prevent a humanitarian crisis in the making.
