One of my facebook friends was getting her nursing degree. She also constantly went on about being anti-choice and disparaged planned parenthood. Another of my facebook friends going into nursing is doing her residency (is that the word for nurses) and she’s an anti vaxxer

^^^ Reminder that MANY medical professionals go into medicine (including nursing and mental health care) for the wrong reasons, with beliefs in wrongheaded “science”, and with terrible attitudes about patient care. Working in medicine is not a guarantee that someone is trustworthy, even just with regard to medical issues.

If someone tells you their doctor or nurse is abusive or incompetent, believe them.

If your doctor or nurse is abusive or incompetent, fire them and go see someone else if that’s an option that’s available to you.

If you’re a doctor or a nurse… don’t be abusive or incompetent.
