William Mehrvarz is a refugee from Iran, who had to flee Iran in 2016 after a death warrant was put out for him, on the charge of Apostasy, for being involved with Judaism and seeking a conversion.
He is currently living in New York and struggling to make ends meet. It would be amazing if the Jumblr community could donate whatever you are individually able to, and if you aren’t able to donate anything, share this post.
It’s a great mitzvah to support other Jews when they are in need. William made so many sacrifices to live a Jewish life and the determination and integrity he showed in the face of such danger is incredible.
