So in terms of entitlement? This takes the cake. Pulled into the parking lot to see a limo parked over ALL the accessible spaces. He got out of the car and I thought he would ask if he should move but no he was just “oh do you want your picture taken with the car” and I was like uh no? We got into our car and you would think seeing a wheelchair user might have clued him in but nope. The car was too hot to shut the doors on so we had to sit there for a bit and we watched as he just sat there. A lady pulled up and was talking to him and it was clear from gestures she was saying to move and he was arguing. She eventually gave up and drove off and he was STILL sitting there. Someone is sooo getting fired and their license fee is gonna go way up for this. Like you can’t see it well in the pics but the spots are painted and signed that all spaces to the left of the sign are wheelchair only. That’s a whole new special level of entitlement. Can kinda lip read and gestures made it clear he was telling the woman he HAD to park here because the parking lot was full. Doesn’t work like that. I hope he gets separate tickets for each space he was in. If he does that will be a $1200 ticket and if he doesn’t pay it in 14 days it’s a $2400 ticket. Wish I got a commission from the city for all my reports that get them money. I should at this point. :p
