So we’re nearing the end of the month and my job search has been… less than fruitful. I lost my job about three weeks ago, and I’ve got rent to pay. I sold some stuff but it turns out eBay isn’t gonna release that money to me for up to 21 days, and honestly, it wasn’t nearly enough anyway.
Some background, because these posts always have that; I’m disabled both mentally and physically and I’m trying very hard to live independently and not return to an abusive family. I recently moved into a new apartment in a new city, with a new job that ended up being shortlived. I don’t really own anything of value, and I can’t exactly go down to the McDonald’s and commit to being on my feet for 8 hours a day. My last retail job landed me in physical therapy after I collapsed and simply couldn’t walk anymore.
Any amount of money donated would help. Rent would be nice, obviously, but also just being able to toss a few dollars on my transit card would be immensely helpful. Even just a signal boost, I would deeply appreciate.

I managed to cobble together enough to pay the rent, which is amazing and fantastic, and thank you to everyone who donated! However, I do have to ask that people continue to spread this.
Utility bills are coming in, and right now I need to buy groceries, cat supplies, and basic hygeine stuff. I tried asking a relative for help with that last one today and the response I got was, ‘so what’, so that’s where I’m at right now.
Help me keep a roof?
